Seminole Tribe and Pari-Mutuels Reach Florida Sports Betting Agreements

Florida removed one stumbling block. It came after Governor Ron DeSantis mediated between the Seminole Tribe and the pari-mutuel facilities in the state. As a result, they reached Florida sports betting agreements with five pari-mutuels.

The five facilities are Palm Beach Kennel Club, Ocala Gainesville Poker and Ocala Breeders’ Sales Co., TGT Poker and Racebook, Tampa Bay Downs, and Hialeah Park Casino. They would receive 60 percent of profits from marketing sports betting in the facilities.

The Seminole Tribe is likely to sign more deals with other pari-mutuels in the future. However, they didn’t announce the start of sports betting in the state. Florida Sports Betting Agreements
