When we first wrote this review two years ago, we had to wait for a week after signing up before we could try out their software. When we tried it to update our review, our experience was worse.

The sign-up process was unsuccessful due to errors. Their advertised 24/7 live chat support was inaccessible. Our email inquiries went unanswered. Even the demo links for their bookie software and sportsbook were non-functional. Upon further investigation, we discovered some inconsistencies. The website banner displayed another PPH provider’s name and link (7pph.com). Then, one of their pages linked to yet another provider (payperhead.net). Remarkably, all three websites were clones, differing only in name. They shared the same phone number, email address, photos, blog posts, and even typographical errors.

Identifying the parent company proved challenging. There are no details about their main office or parent company. Without successfully contacting an agent, we couldn’t determine which site was the primary one.

We managed to register with payperhead.net. We finally got our login credentials for both agent and player sites after email confirmation. However, the free access was limited to just 24 hours, after which a $100 “small fee” was required. The $100 amount was mentioned in the welcome email. But upon checking our messages in the bookie software itself, it says that the deposit is $150. The conflicting rates reveal how uncoordinated their content is. Maybe they should review their content- from their websites down to customer service communications.

Their service fee is $5 per player, with a one-week free promotion starting upon deposit payment. Again, this falls short compared with other providers. It is common practice nowadays to provide longer trial periods without requiring upfront deposits.

One thing they have going for them is that their agent platform looks very clean and detail-oriented. The landing page for your bookie software is not a dashboard, though. With other providers, you immediately get a bird’s eye view of your operation. Here, its the functions and tools that are displayed. It makes it easier for finding what you need. But, if you want data, you will have to look for the feature first.

Their interface takes a very direct and staightforward approach in getting information. You can see options to view player activity and various player management options. You can adjust limits, and more. Aside from betting limits, you can also allow or disable phone wagering for each player. You can add freeplay options easily, too.

They also have some new features that were absent years ago. First is the bet notification feature. Here, you can register for email or sms notifications based on your players’ activity. You have the option to get notified for every wager made, or if a certain amount is wagered. If you do not like getting notifications but want the benefits of risk management, they have another option. You can get notifications only if a player has a chance to win a certain amount.

Another new feature we like is that the software detects if players have the same IP address. Some players tend to make multiple accounts to take advantage of the lines or promotions. This features will help you protect your sportsbook from such players.

Lastly, they also now have a feature where you can see live scores for games. This is helpful if you are on the road. Other than these features, they offer the standard sportsbook management products. While we appreciate the large menu on the screen, we would have liked to see more details of our sportsbook’s status, even as a widget on the side. There is a small one on top of the page that shows basic data. But we were hoping for more details instead of the current balance.

The player website or the actual sportsbook itself is pretty standard. Once you log in, you go to straight bets, where you can see the available games. On the left side of the screen, you have the basic data overview. You have a search button there to help you in case you are in a rush and looking for a specific sport.

Placing a bet takes a few more clicks compared with other sportsbooks. After selecting a desired line, players must click an additional “continue” button. This feature, presumably designed to accommodate multiple bets, can be unintuitive for those placing single wagers. A more prominent prompt or widget guiding players to finalize their bet slip would enhance their user experience.

These include standard sports betting, an online casino, and live betting capabilities. Notably, they also offer cockfighting, which may appeal to specific markets. However, none of these features particularly distinguish this platform from other providers.

There are a lot of really good and reliable software pay per head solution for bookies. RealPricePerHead.com, sadly, is not one of them. Their service fails to impress us. Their software, while good, leaves more room for improvement. The difficulty in registration is a problem. Had we not searched through their site thoroughly, we would never have seen its other sites. If we were regular would-be bookies, we would have simply moved on to another provider. One of the most important aspects of a bookie provider is reliability. If your bookies cannot contact you, or get in touch with you, then its a risky play for bookies.

Because of this, we would recommend that you try out other pay per head providers that are responsive. There are bookie software companies that offer a longer trial period with no deposits. They have true 24/7 customer support, and have presentable and professional websites. Its unfortunate that we are making this recommendation, but there really are better options in the market today. Maybe in a few years, we will revisit their site, and they can change our minds. But for now, we remain unimpressed.
